Center for Alexandria's Children
In 2008, there were 1,096 reports of child abuse and/or neglect in Alexandria. These statistics do not take into account the number of cases that are never reported. The Center for Alexandria’s Children protects children and strengthens families by coordinating the investigation, prosecution, treatment and prevention of child abuse in one safe, child-friendly facility. The CAC is a public-private partnership dedicated to one purpose: the elimination of child abuse in the City of Alexandria.
Fee StructureThe Fund will be assessed an administrative fee of .275% of the Fund balance -assessed at end of each quarter (a total of 1.1 % per year) for expenses attributable to its operation and maintenance. The minimum annual administrative fee is $500. For Funds larger than $3 million the annual fee is 1.1% on the first $3 million, .6% on the next $2 million, and .35% above $5 million. If the Donor requests extraordinary services or activities additional charges may be assessed, as agreed by ACT and the Donor. |
