The ACT Now Fund is currently accepting applications from 501c3 organizations that serve City of Alexandria residents and are seeing an increase in the need for services from vulnerable Alexandrians as a result of the shutdown. Organizations can request up to $5,000 every 30 days. Grants will be given to support a broad range of programs and services. Priority will be given to help meet short-term, unanticipated emergency services (food, housing, financial assistance, child care assistance and mental health services) followed by services that help affected workers become more resilient and rebound. This funding is intended to support an unanticipated increase in demand for services and is not designed for general operating support or on-going programming. Click here for more information.
